There’s no such thing as a perfect workout. We all have different goals, capabilities, and preferences, however, there are markers that help indicate whether or not a workout is good. And by good, what we really want to know is if it is effective, right?
I was recently talking about P.volve inside my private Facebook community, and the question came up of whether or not I thought P.volve was a good workout. As soon as I answered it, I realized that plenty of people were wondering the same thing and that there were even more in-depth questions that were being asked.
I get it, there’s a lot of noise out there in the fitness equipment and program space, which means we want to do our research before investing in something as important as a fitness program! So, is P.volve a good workout? I’ll answer that and more in this article.
The P.volve Method Overview
Really quick, before I dive into answering your question of whether or not P.volve is a good workout, let’s first talk about the foundation of the program and what it offers.
P.volve is all about redefining fitness with its low-impact, but highly effective method. Using functional movement as the pillar of the program, P.volve’s goal is to help you move throughout life with more ease and less discomfort.
A combination of dynamic joint movement and resistance-based equipment works to activate and strengthen the muscles of your body in ways you’ve likely never experienced before.
P.volve workouts are unique (see p.volve phase and function) in that they are multiplanar and multi-dimensional, supporting your movement in all directions so that you’re as strong and steady as possible. As a result, your joints will feel more open, your body’s muscles will be more engaged, and your overall sense of wellbeing will be invigorated.
Three Pillars of P.volve’s Method
The way you move your body during exercise can enhance your everyday activities like walking, sex, and sports. Improvement in these activities comes from a focus on optimizing your posture, stability, and balance.
Joint and muscle pain is a real problem that many of us face, especially as we age. P.volve helps you to move your body in a way that’s conducive to the way it’s meant to move. The by-product is less pain and inflammation.
Look and feel amazing:
With resistance-based exercises, every muscle in your body will be activated, strengthened, and sculpted to give you the confidence you deserve.
It’s sufficient to say that, just based on these three pillars of P.volve’s programming that p.volve is, indeed, a great workout.
Can You Lose Weight With P. volve?
Yes, P.volve can help you lose weight if you pair the program with a nutrition program that includes high-quality, nutrient-dense foods and a calorie deficit. The best way to lose weight in a healthy and sustainable manner is to do so by combining a healthy diet with movement.
If P.volve’s program is aligned with your goals and preferences, then you can certainly see weight loss as a result of following this programming. P.volve recommends using a mixture of cardio and resistance training from their programs 4-5 times per week to see maximum weight loss results.
Does P. volve build muscle?
Yes, P.volve uses resistance training as the core of their program, which inherently builds your muscles. However, you are not likely to see major muscle growth using P.volve as there is not enough progressive overload to stimulate muscle growth. What you will see is longer, leaner, and stronger muscle tone.
How Many Days Per Week Should You Do P. volve?
P.volve recommends users workout 4-6 times per week for best results. They also encourage members to remember to factor in at least 1, preferably 2, rest days per week to allow your muscles to recover properly and to get the most out of your next workout.
Personally, I recommend that you try to fit in at least 3 workouts per week. Each week, you should be focusing on combining different fitness modalities in order to achieve a well-rounded workout routine that supports all of your fitness and wellness goals.
How Long Does it Take to See Results With P. volve?
According to P.volve’s official website, they conducted a study amongst their users where they reported the following:
- 84% of women see a change in their thighs after 6 weeks of using P.volve
- 96% of women say that they feel stronger after 8 weeks of using the program
- 97% of women feel healthier after 4 weeks of using the program
The results that you see will depend on a few factors like your current physical fitness, your adherence to the program, and your nutrition.
Final Thoughts: Is P. volve a Good Workout For Getting Results?
P.volve is a good workout program for those who want a low-impact workout that focuses on building strength and mobility through gentle resistance training. P.volve users report that they get results as soon as four weeks into the program, indicating that it’s not only a good workout, but an effective one.
However, for those looking to build serious muscle, P.volve isn’t going to be the best option as there isn’t enough stimulus (resistance) available to build appreciable muscle. That said, users do report getting stronger, leaner, and more toned after using P.volve.
Overall, P.volve is a great workout for anyone who desires to feel less joint pain, improve their everyday performance during daily activities, and see a physical body transformation, too. P.volve is an excellent way to add a unique, functional workout to your routine.
