Check out any best at-home fitness apps 2020 list and I guarantee you’ll find Neou and Obe amongst them. Take, for example, The NY Post who rated Neou #1 and Obe #7 on their list of the 7 best at-home fitness apps during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Both of these streaming fitness apps are similar, so it can be hard to know which one you will like better. Luckily, I have personally tried both Obe and Neou and I’m excited to square them off in this head-to-head comparison to give you the opportunity to find out all the information you need to choose one for yourself.

So, which fitness app is right for you in the NEOU vs. Obe battle? Let’s dive in and let you decide for yourself!

Why All The Buzz Around Streaming Workout Apps?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the entirety of 2020 (which maybe you wish you had been), you know that COVID-19 rocked our worlds this year. Although fitness is just a small, insignificant part of our lives, especially when considering all that’s happened this year, it’s been affected, too.

Gyms were/are closed. We are staying home more. Dumbbells are nowhere to be found. For us fitness fanatics, life started to feel really unfair. But alas, out of every tragedy comes opportunity, and when it comes to fitness, that opportunity comes in the form of enjoying the privacy and convenience of working out from the comfort of your own home.

But even before COVID, streaming apps have been making working out and reaching goals more accessible to everyone. I used to go to the gym a few days a week, then I had my first baby and leaving the house to go workout just wasn’t an option. Instead, I discovered home workout programs like Beachbody on Demand and 21 Day Fix, my gateway drug to working out from home.

While I still love Beachbody programs from time to time, there are so many streaming apps now that include things like LIVE classes, competition, and more that really show just how far this industry has developed and exploded over the last few years. There are even smart home gyms now that will blow your mind - check out my Tempo Vs. Tonal Vs. Mirror post for more on the top smart gyms if you’re looking for an all-in-one home gym experience.

Otherwise, let’s get into the two apps we came here to talk about, Obe and Neou, and the similarities and differences between the two.

As you can see, these two fitness platforms are very similar, which is fantastic because they offer the style workouts that so many people love - quick, fun, fast, and effective! One of the best attributes of both platforms is their dedication to offering variety, it’s the spice of life, as they say.

Personally, I enjoy following a structured plan while also throwing in some random workouts that I’m just feeling on a particular day. Some days you want to lift heavy weights and others you want to do yoga. Your fitness subscription should give you access to both!

Take a look at our latest video review, where we take you inside both fitness apps so you can get a good feel for which one is right for you!

Final Thoughts: Which Online Fitness Platform Will You Choose?

In the Obe vs. Neou debate, there really is no clear winner or loser. It comes down to your personal preferences, style, and budget (although the pricing isn’t too dissimilar). I love and use both platforms. Obe is great for hopping on a live class that sounds like fun for the day and Neou is wonderful when you find an instructor and workout style that you love, you can tune into their programming whenever you want.

When it comes to fitness and achieving your body goals, the number one thing to keep in mind is that you have to love it and be excited about it or else you probably won’t stick with it. Fitness should be fun! Find what works for you and go all in.

Just because one person loves running and sees great results, doesn't mean you have to lace up your sneakers and slog out the door every morning when you truly dislike running! Don’t be grouped in with the 90% of people who give up on their fitness goals just 3 months into the journey. Find what lights you up and the commitment will be so much easier.

Movement in any form does absolute wonders for your body, both physically and mentally. Still not sure which platform to choose? Obe offers a free 7-day trial and Neou offers a free 30-day trial - plenty of time to try them out for yourself! And don’t forget to take my Fit Quiz to see which program you’re matched with!

Which one will you choose? Leave me a comment below, I’d love to hear your feedback!
