Let’s face it, our lives are far too busy these days to allow for leisurely shopping through the mall (ps. Remember malls?). Today, 69% of Americans shop online, with the majority of them (59%) buying mostly clothing items.

I am one of them. Between the facts that I live in a secluded area, have two small children at home, and COVID-19, my online shopping has increased even more over the last year.

The awesome news is that not only can I shop online, but I can also actually have a personal stylist pick out my clothes for me! I’m not the most style-savvy so the ability to have someone else choose my clothing for me saves me time, money, and the frustration of endlessly scrolling through various websites to mix and match pieces that I think go together.

So today I wanted to compare two of the most popular clothing box subscriptions out there today, Wantable and Stitch Fix. Which one gives you the most bang for your buck? I’ll tell you all about both and then compare them side-to-side so that you can choose the right one for your needs and preferences.

I put together this handy comparison table below which will highlight all the most important features of each brand, showing you the similarities and differences between the two. Here’s the head-to-head comparison of a Stitch Fix “Fix” and a Wantable “Edit”:

Why Choose a Personal Stylist Box Service?

When you think of having a personal stylist, your first thought is probably that a service like that is reserved only for the wealthy, however, companies like Stitch Fix and Wantable are making it accessible for everyone.

So whether you hate shopping, you’re too busy to shop, or you simply can’t put together an outfit to save your life, you’re going to love the personalized convenience that comes with one of these services. They get to know you, your personal style, preferences and then choose clothing that matches your needs.

One of the biggest benefits of personal shoppers is that the professional stylists are up to date on all the latest trends and styles and they open your eyes up to new items that you may not have chosen on your own. You’ll be surprised by how much stuff you think you can’t pull off or wouldn’t normally choose, but find that you love them and that they look great on you. Basically, these services allow you to open your mind up to clothing and style that you may have otherwise ignored.

Lastly, all the clothes offer through these style boxes are high-quality brands and pieces that are durable and built to last. The Fixes or Styles that you receive are made to become staples in your wardrobe that you can mix and match as you please.

Which Clothing Subscription Box is Better? Wantable or Stitch Fix?

Choose Stitch Fix if you're looking for everyday style clothes or looking to sign up the whole family under one account, as they offer kid's and men's style clothing. Stitch Fix might also work better for you're interested in more pricing options. You can set your budget for different categories for both Stitch Fix and Wantbale, but Stitch Fix allows you to request items over $200, while Wantable has a high price point of $150+. On the lower end, you can search on Stitch Fix's website 'The Cheaper, The Better' option, while Wantable's price point starts at $50 bucks.

Choose Wantbale if you're looking for high quality activewear or Themed edits. You have plenty of room to work with if you're interested in style edits, along with women's and men's active edits. You can also choose as many themed edits as you want!

What Was Better For Me?

Personally, I chose Wantable because I love their Active Edit. I am a busy mom who practically lives in activewear, from working out to running errands, and time spent at home with the kids, you rarely catch me in anything but leggings and a comfortable top. I also love that they give 7 pieces in each Edit, I feel like the more options the better when it comes to clothing.

Either way you choose, enjoy the freedom that comes with eliminating the need to spend time shopping or scrolling store pages looking for outfit pairings! Having your own personal stylist is no longer reserved for the rich and the famous, brands like Wantable and Stitch Fix are making it easy for everyday women like you and me to feel amazing and look great while expressing our personal styles, which is really a thing of beauty.
