Personally, I’m committed to improving my overall mobility and flexibility, so I knew that yoga would provide me with that. After taking a few Skill Yoga classes, I can tell you that I am already feeling stronger, leaner, and more mobile.
Every Skill Yoga class features real time videos that guide you through the entire workout. There’s a voiceover that’s instructing and cueing you through each and every movement. Overall, the video and sound quality are incredible. It’s a very clean, simple interface that allows you to focus on what’s most important: your workout.
When compared to other yoga apps and classes I’ve taken, I would definitely say that Skill focuses more on strength and fitness than mindfulness and stillness. It’s definitely a challenge no matter how experienced you are!
One of my favorite classes is their hip mobility for athletes. I injured my hip a year and a half ago and performing these movements has really helped me to loosen it up, strengthen it, and feel more confident in move movements. Overall, the classes are designed to help you get stronger, and trust me, you will!
During any class, you have the option to pause, rewind, or fast forward the class, which is great because I am often interrupted and I hate missing a segment or movement.
