A green drink and protein supplement all in one? Sound too good to be true? It’s not!

Kylea Health created the mecca of green drinks by adding protein to it. Their Total Berry Drink Greens has it all. I tried this green drink blend along with their Total Living Drink Berry and here’s my honest review of their products.

Who is Kylea Health and Wellness?

Kylea was founded by Joe Castello who began juicing as a way to help both him and his daughter through a health issue. Joe did the research and understood the benefits of juicing, but soon realized that the cost and effort required to get those nutrients was more than he was willing to take.

He knew that there had to be a better, cheaper, more efficient way to get the nutrients from fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, so he decided to create it himself. What came from it is some of the most potent superfood powders on the market.

What Makes Them Different?

As Joe explains in the video below, instead of taking the juice and the pulp from the produce and mixing it all together to create a powder for consumption, Kylea uses only the juice, which is where all the nutrients lie. The pulp offers nothing but fiber.

This process allows for a more concentrated source of nutrients without all the time and hassle and without any fluff that you don’t really need. They call this a “juice powder” because they use only the juice to create the powder.

There are a lot of green drinks and juices on the market, but only Kylea uses their 9-in-one formula with the highest quality, organic ingredients. It’s real, whole food! Each scoop contains 40 grams of nutrient-dense calories.

What Products Do They Offer?

Kylea is most well-known for their Total Living Greens Drink, however, they also offer several other products, including:

  • Total Living Drink Berry
  • Collagen Peptides
  • Ultimate Keto Supplement
  • Max Immunity Supplement
  • Colon and Intestinal Cleanse Formula

Total Living Drink SuperGreens Review

I’ll be the first to admit that the thought of drinking any kind of green drink makes me nervous. I like vegetables, but I prefer to eat them in their whole form. That said, I too have done my research (like reviewing Opti-Greens 50) and know that supergreens provide an invaluable wealth of nutrients and benefits for your body.

If you don't like drinking supergreens or you have a hard time getting vegetables down, read my goli supergreens gummies review, and take a loot at goli's website now to see if it's a good fit. Sometimes eating things in gummy form makes it a whole lot easier!

What’s in Drink Greens?

The brand calls this a 9-in-one whole-food super-food formula. Here are the 9 core components:

  • Protein
  • Superfoods
  • Antioxidants
  • Amino Acids
  • Probiotics
  • Herbal Blend
  • Enzymes
  • Multi-Vitamin
  • Multi-Mineral

Each scoop provides you with:

  • Protein to promote lean muscle mass
  • Fruits, veggies, grasses, and algae for nutrient-dense calories
  • Digestive enzymes to promote better digestion
  • Probiotics for a healthy ecosystem
  • Amino Acids for energy
  • Antioxidants for optimized immune function
  • Herbs to promote intestinal, blood, and other internal organ cleansing
  • Essential vitamins and minerals

What Are The Benefits?

When you have a powder that contains this many superfoods plus protein, you’re going to have a benefits list a mile long. Here are the key benefits:

  • It feeds your cells with nutrient-dense phytonutrients
  • Helps establish a healthy pH balance
  • Regulates your blood sugar
  • Provides you with a giant energy boost without stimulating your adrenal system
  • Increases your mental clarity and focus
  • Can help you to achieve and maintain your ideal weight
  • Rejuventaes your skin
  • Helps improve digestion
  • Boosts your immune system
  • Cleanses your blood and organs
  • Provides daily dense nutrition in case you’re not getting it in your diet (hint: you’re probably not!)

How’s The Taste?

I know this is the real reason why you came to my review, you want to know how it tastes. Is it bearable? Is the juice worth the squeeze?

As someone who gags at the thought of drinking something green that also tastes “green,” I’m so happy to share that this does not taste like a stalk of celery or a piece of Seawood. In fact, it’s kind of fruity, with blueberry being the main taste.

I use my powder to make a smoothie, but I actually don’t mind it mixed with just water! They have a bunch of great smoothie recipes on their blog.

How Much Does it Cost?

You can get a 30-day supply for $99. Although that may seem expensive, if you break it down, it’s just $3.33 per day, less than you pay at the drive-through for your morning coffee, but with so many more health benefits.

You also have to think of it in terms of what’s inside it and what it would cost you to source that juice yourself. Between the purchasing of the fruits and vegetables, the juicer, and the time spent juicing, that $3.33 looks better and better.

I was a little put off by the price at first, too. But after understanding what’s inside it and taking it for a month myself and seeing the benefits it gives, I believe that the price is more than fair.

How to Drink it?

You have some options for consumption. As I mentioned, I either mix it up with a smoothie or I’ll just mix it in with a glass of water and sip on it throughout my morning routine. Some people mix it with juice instead of water.

You can use a full scoop of powder and use it as a meal replacement or you can mix a half scoop in and use it as a dietary supplement, the choice is yours. Typically, I do the half scoop option.

What I Love About It

  • Great taste
  • Mixes easily
  • No chalky or gritty texture
  • It has protein
  • It contains a whole wealth of nutrition in one easy drink
  • It costs a fraction of what you’d pay at the store for the ingredients
  • It replaced my need for a daily multivitamin which saved me even more money
  • I have so much energy - even at the end of the day!

The Takeaway

Kylea Drink Greens is a fantastic product that’s very clearly crafted with a love and dedication for healthy living. I am so happy that I found this brand and will continue to use their products. I rotate between drinking the green drink and the berry mix, both of which taste amazing and surprisingly somewhat similar.

If your diet could use a boost, if you’re tired all the time, get sick frequently, suffer from chronic or long-term health problems, and just aren’t meeting your nutritional recommendations, then you owe it to yourself to at least try Kylea for a month and see what happens, I think you’re going to be pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
