I’d also like to comment on the music in Alo’s videos, they do a great job of using tracks that add to the experience and overall feel of each class.

Like many popular streaming platforms, Alo Moves offers classes that range in length from as little as 10 minutes long to as long as 90 minutes long. This is just one of the many reasons why Alo Moves is an excellent fitness app. The team understands that sometimes we have a full hour to dedicate to our workouts and some days we have only a few minutes before we dash out the door for the day. You get to choose your workouts based on how you’re feeling, what kind of movement sounds good to you on any given day, and how much time you want to spend doing it.

What Equipment is Needed?

Alo Moves requires very little equipment to be successful with their workouts. All you need is a yoga mat, but it’s helpful to also have a couple of sets of light dumbbells. Dumbbells ranging from 2-10 lbs will be plenty for the majority of the workouts within the app. For some yoga workouts, a yoga block could help add to the experience, but they are never required for success.

The best Alo Moves classes are their yoga classes. Alo is a yoga brand and that’s certainly their specialty and what they are most well-known for, and therefore what they focus the most of their resources on. While I haven’t tried all of their 1000’s of workouts, I can honestly say that of the ones that I have tried, I haven’t found one that I did not enjoy.

That said, I know to choose workouts and movements that are most aligned with my goals and fitness personality. Personally, I don’t practice a ton of yoga, however, I do enjoy mixing it in once and while to keep my body limber and to feel my mind-body connection a bit deeper.

Alo Moves is best suited for those who love practicing yoga and are looking to be able to do so from home. This platform is great for both men and women and is appropriate for yogis of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced.

While there are other workouts on the app, it is very much tailored to yoga and those who don’t partake will miss out on the best part of the app.
