Level-1 Protein
Level-1 is 1st Phorm’s meal replacement protein powder, however, I don’t personally use it as a meal replacement. This is hands down the best protein powder on the market. Aside from being delicious and so easy to mix, it’s got the absolute best ingredients.
Using their bioavailable, sustained assimilation formula which consists of low temperature processed milk protein concentrate. Basically, this is a specifically formulated premium protein that mimics the protein assimilation rates of whole food. Additionally, Level-1 contains 5g of naturally occurring Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) to help support muscle tissue growth and repair.
How I use Level-1 Protein:
My favorite way to use Level-1 currently is in oatmeal, or “protmeal” (protein oatmeal). He’s my quick recipe:
- 1 packet of Better Oats Oatmeal
- 1 Scoop Level-1 Protein Powder (I like the Cinnamon Cookie Batter or Pumpkin Spice for this)
- Almond Milk
- Berries/fruit to top

Megawatt
I’ll be the first to admit that I have never loved using pre-workout. After trying a couple of options off of Amazon, I was turned off by the way they made me feel. However, Megawatt from 1st Phorm has changed my mind about pre-workout supplements.
Megawatt is created with natural caffeine and electrolytes to help give you the natural boost you need to get your butt to the gym and to give it your all when you’re there. For me, my workouts happen early in the morning around 4 am, so this is a very welcomed stimulus for me at that hour. This stuff literally helps me to push past my physical and mental barriers and hit PRs.
The thing that I love about Megawatt is that it’s so much more than just a quick-hitting stimulant. It’s formulated with B vitamins and nootropic ingredients that increase your mental focus, alertness, and clarity. With so many distractions around these days, this is exactly what a lot of us need to be able to dial in our workout sessions.
Using this supplement as my pre-workout a few times per week, usually on my heavy lifting days, I get to experience feeling like superwoman without the crash and jitters that I get with cheap pre-workout options. Transparent Labs is very similar compared to 1st Phorm supplements in terms of products offered.
TL has a lot of highly-rated reviews from customers, but also are on the pricey side, like 1st Phorm.
There's no workout app, gear or workout apparel, which shows that they are still in the novice stage of building their fitness brand.
Thorne is mainly known for health and wellness supplements, such as vitamins and gut health tests. However, they also offer workout supplements, such as whey protein, creatine and pre-workouts.
Thorne is also on the pricier side, but they offer high-quality ingredients like 1st Phorm. The higher the quality of ingredients, the more it costs the brand to create the supplement, hence the higher prices.
BPN is probably the most comparable nutrition brand to 1st Phorm, as they offer basically all the supplements 1st Phorm does, plus an app and apparel.
The only knock on their apparel is that its for men only at this point.
And, the knock on their app is its not even close in terms of robust, powerful features that 1st Phorm's app offers (such as nutrition, food tracking, track macros, etc.) BPN is still in baby brand-building phase.
Their products are much cheaper, but the quality of sourced ingredients is less valuable.
Optimum Nutrition has been around the supplement world for a very long time. They use average ingredients, and their price reflects that. However, for a cheaper protein powder and other supplements they offer, they tend to taste better than lower quality brands.
Wrapping Up: Are 1st Phorm Supplements Worth It?
1st Phorm supplements are 100% worth it if you are serious about your nutrition, fitness, and overall wellness. Yes, you will be paying slightly more than if you were to grab a generic brand from the grocery store or Amazon, but you’re getting so much more for your money.
Between the fact that 1st Phorm’s supplements are sourced and created with the utmost attention to detail and with regard to the highest quality, safety, adn efficacy standards and they taste amazing, you really won’t find anything better.
